Privacy policy

This policy describes how the privately operated OpenClaw Home Calendar application uses Google account and calendar data.

Application scope

This is a private household application operated for two household members. It is not offered to the public and does not provide public user registration.

Data accessed

The application requests the Google Calendar OAuth scope and basic Google account identity scopes. It may access calendar names, event titles, descriptions, locations, dates, times, attendees, RSVP status, reminders, and availability on calendars explicitly shared with its dedicated Google account.

How data is used

Calendar data is used only to perform household-requested tasks such as checking schedules, creating or updating events, inviting the other household member, and delivering requested reminders. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Processing and disclosure

The application communicates with Google Calendar through Google’s APIs. Calendar information may also be processed by the household’s self-hosted OpenClaw installation and its configured AI model provider when needed to understand and carry out a request. Data is not voluntarily disclosed to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Storage and security

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored locally on the household’s Mac using restricted files and the macOS Keychain. The public website does not receive, collect, or store calendar information. Access is limited to calendars deliberately shared with the dedicated application account.

Retention and deletion

The application does not maintain a separate public database of Google Calendar events. Calendar events remain subject to Google Calendar’s retention controls. Local OAuth access can be removed at any time by revoking the application in Google Account permissions or deleting its locally stored authorization token.

User choices

• Calendar sharing can be changed or removed in Google Calendar settings.
• OAuth access can be revoked from the authorized Google account.
• Individual events can be edited or deleted through Google Calendar.
